It’s 5.3″ of HD Super AMOLED goodness.  It’s 1.5GHz of dual-core Exynos processing power.  It’s 8 megapixels of photographic excellence.  It’s the Samsung Galaxy Note and it’s coming to AT&T on February for $299.99 with a two year contract.  But is the Samsung Galaxy Note too big?  Is it too big to fit comfortably in your pocket, too big to hold while you talk and too big for one hand use?

There’s no denying that the Samsung Galaxy Note is big but it’s not too big for every day use.  If I can fit a 7″ tablet in the front pocket of my khaki’s then a 5.3″ phone shouldn’t be too big of an issue unless you’re wearing skinny jeans or, even worse, leather pants.  The Galaxy Note also may not be the most comfortable phone to hold while on a long conversation but the weight of the device isn’t that much greater than the phone you’re using now because Samsung has managed to create a device that is shockingly thin for its size.  As far as using the Galaxy Note for one hand tasks well that might be a valid point.  Some tasks may be difficult while some will prove to be impossible but this isn’t something that should be to difficult to adjust to.

Here’s what it all boils down to for me.  The Samsung Galaxy Note might be the most awesome Android phone ever created and doing pretty much anything on that 5.3″ HD Super AMOLED display will be more enjoyable than doing it on the phone you are currently using.  Is the Samsung Galaxy Note too big?  For some maybe but the benefits of using a device like the Galaxy Note will far outweigh the minor inconvenience that the size will cause.  That is all for now.
